Duapa International Charity Foundation LBG
The Duapa Story
The name “Duapa,” meaning “Good Tree” or “Healthy Tree” in the Akan language symbolises our commitment to providing support and nurturing to children with learning disabilities. We aim to create a solid foundation and a conducive environment for these children to flourish and grow. Just as each tree is unique, “Duapa” recognises and appreciates the individuality and diversity of these children. It signifies resilience and strength, highlighting their ability to overcome challenges and thrive with the right support. Moreover, it signifies the organisation’s dedication to education and learning as crucial foundations for their success. Duapa is a reputable and registered NGO located in Gomoa Asebu, in the central region of Ghana. Established in 2022 under the Companies Act 2019 (Act 992) of Ghana, Duapa is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children with learning disabilities.
